Explosion protection and functional safety technology in one device. Sendix 7014FS2 incremental encoders are suitable for use in safety-related applications up to SIL2 according to EN 61800-5-2 or PLd according to EN ISO 13849-1. In addition, these encoders offer explosion protection in a compact 70 mm housing made of seawater-resistant aluminum.

Bellows couplings (FS)
Bellows couplings are used for the low backlash connection of motor and encoder. In addition, a correction of angular errors between drive and encoder is achieved. These bellows couplings (FS) provide a safe connection between the application and Sendix SIL encoders.
