More options for your automation: the new generation of Sendix encoders – now also available as absolute encoders

Programmable and precise position detection

Your requirements change? Your encoder stays flexible.

The Sendix K58I and K80I incremental encoders can be adapted to new machine and system requirements without having to be replaced. You can individually parameterise the resolution, signal formats and output drivers even after commissioning. This enables changes to be implemented swiftly, avoiding downtime.
With up to 36,000 pulses per revolution, the encoders ensure precise detection of position and speed. Their compact design and large hollow shaft also make them suitable for applications where large shaft diameters meet limited installation space.

New in the absolute range: the Sendix K58A with CANopen. It delivers reliable singleturn and multiturn position data, with an overall length more than 50% shorter than the previous Sendix 5868/5888. This makes integration easier, especially in compact machine designs.

The new Sendix generation combines innovative sensor technology and digital signal processing with the proven, robust Sendix design on a single platform. Various connection and mounting options simplify integration into a wide range of applications, providing additional flexibility in design and operation.

More performance for your servo motors: the new Motor Feedback System Sendix MFB S19

24-bit resolution in just 19 mm installation depth

Servo motors are becoming increasingly compact and powerful. At the same time, requirements for dynamics, control quality and installation space are rising. This is exactly what the Sendix Motor Feedback System Sendix MFB S19 was developed for.

The bearingless motor feedback system delivers the precise position data that modern servo motors need for highly dynamic and accurate drive control. Its new reflective sensor technology ensures robust and future-proof rotor position detection. With an accuracy of 70 arcseconds, 24-bit singleturn resolution and 12-bit multiturn resolution, the system lays the foundation for high-precision drive control.

The bearingless design generates extremely little self-heating. This reduces thermal load in the motor and creates additional power reserves for demanding applications. With an installation depth of just 19 mm, the Sendix MFB S19 is ideal for particularly compact motor designs.
Thanks to its compatibility with existing motor designs and with interfaces such as BiSS-C and BiSS-C with SinCos, the system can be flexibly integrated into a wide range of servo motors. Singleturn, multiturn and customer-specific variants allow it to be tailored precisely to each application.

Industrial Ethernet platform – cybersecurity as standard

A uniform security foundation for all networks

Cybersecurity is becoming a decisive factor in industrial communication. Networked machines and systems must not only exchange data reliably but also meet rising regulatory and security requirements. At the same time, machine builders and plant operators use a range of Industrial Ethernet networks and need a consistent security strategy across all of them. In view of the requirements of the EU Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, which applies from January 2027, Kübler is systematically integrating cybersecurity into its Industrial Ethernet portfolio.

Your advantage: a uniform security foundation for standard and safety applications, regardless of the communication protocol used. This simplifies integration, reduces engineering effort and provides long-term planning certainty. All solutions are designed for Security Level 1 in accordance with IEC 62443-4-2.

Platform availability:

  • Available now: Sendix F58 EtherCAT with FSoE
  • By the end of 2026: Sendix F58 PROFINET
  • Early 2027: Sendix F58 PROFIsafe
  • Late 2027: Sendix F58 EtherNet/IP

This gives you a consistent security strategy across different Industrial Ethernet networks, so you can reliably plan for future cybersecurity requirements today.

The right slip ring solution – for every application

Reliable transmission of power, signals and data

Increasing connectivity in automation places new demands on rotating machines and systems. Today, in addition to power and signals, data, including Industrial Ethernet, must also be transmitted reliably between stationary and rotating machine parts.

From proven standard slip rings for power and signal transmission and modular platforms for the combined transmission of power, signals and Industrial Ethernet data to customer-specific pancake slip rings for applications with low installation depth: Kübler offers the right solution for a wide range of requirements.

The Smart Slip Ring combines reliable transmission of power, signals and data with integrated position feedback. Combining slip ring and encoder in one compact unit reduces installation space, interfaces and integration effort. At the same time, power and data transmission as well as precise position and condition monitoring can be implemented in a single system.

Precise measurement results even under demanding conditions: radar sensors from Kübler

One technology. Many measuring tasks.

Dust, smoke, fog, rain or ambient light pose challenges for many measuring methods, such as laser or ultrasonic sensors. Radar sensors from Kübler deliver reliable, measured values for distance, object and level measurement even under these conditions.

With measuring rates of up to 500 Hz and a resolution down to the µm range, they detect even the smallest changes in dynamic processes. In hot applications such as steel, glass or furnace technology, they also enable reliable measurements at temperatures of up to 1,600 °C when fitted with a heat protection housing.

The contactless, wear-free measuring technology reduces maintenance and increases system availability. The browser-based user interface allows the sensors to be commissioned quickly, and intelligent filter functions make it easy to adapt them to the respective measuring task.
This gives users stable processes, fast commissioning and straightforward parameterization.

Integrated encoder systems for your motors

Magnetic or inductive - scalable, cost-efficient, wear-free

The new kit solutions offer maximum performance in a minimal amount of space. Inductive kit systems stand out for their compact design. They can be flexibly adapted to various motor sizes, thereby ensuring reliable speed measurement. Magnetic kit solutions are the ideal choice for precise positioning tasks in stepper motors. Thanks to integrated energy-harvesting technology, multiturn counting operates autonomously without a battery. Both variants are available in incremental or absolute versions, as single-turn or multiturn models.

Precise inclination measurement – even in motion: the new IN5x series from Kübler

Stable measured values through IMU-based sensor fusion

On mobile machines, acceleration, braking and vibration can quickly distort inclination measurement. While static inclination sensors are designed primarily for applications at rest, Kübler developed the new IN5x series specifically for dynamic inclination measurement in cost-sensitive applications. It delivers reliable, precise values even in motion.

This is made possible by integrated IMU-based sensor fusion, which compensates for the effects of motion, acceleration and vibration and ensures stable measured values. This enables more precise control, driver assistance functions and reliable condition monitoring.

The 6DoF variant also detects acceleration and angular rates in all three spatial axes. Analog interfaces and fieldbus interfaces such as CANopen make integration into construction machinery, agricultural machinery and mobile elevating work platforms easier.
The result: stable measured values, easy integration and a cost-effective solution for dynamic inclination measurement.
