Radar sensors for distance/displacement measurement. Ultra-precise.
The RAD78L radar sensor with PROFINET interface and integrated web server is specially designed for level measurement of liquid metal. Thanks to the intuitive GUI (Graphical User Interface), the sensor is easy to implement in the application and the associated control concept.An extremely narrow opening angle of just ±1.5° (3°) offers maximum focusing. With a measuring rate of 500 Hz, measurements can be taken not only precisely but also quickly with a repeat accuracy of up to ±0.1 mm.
