Kübler among the 100 most innovative medium-sized companies for the fourth time

Company

29 August 2022

According to WirtschaftsWoche (issue 33/2022), the Kübler Group is one of the 100 most innovative medium-sized companies in 2022 for the fourth time.

A ranking presents the most innovative SMEs in Germany. The winners shine with a high degree of adaptability, clever concepts to combat the shortage of personnel - and sustainable ideas for the climate. As well as Kübler; a leading global specialist in position and motion sensors (including encoders), slip rings and transmission technology, as well as meters and process devices.

On behalf of WirtschaftsWoche, the consultancy Munich Strategy Group (MSG) evaluated more than 4,000 companies in terms of innovation-relevant factors and calculated an innovation score. This is made up of key figures and "innovation criteria". In order to determine the innovative strength, it was examined to what extent the Kübler Group distinguishes itself through continuous innovations, whether it is classified as innovative by the market and competitors, and whether it invests in innovations on a sustainable basis.

The Kübler management and the entire Kübler team are very pleased and proud of this great award. "The award is a confirmation of our corporate culture, our values and our strategy based on them. The strategy includes, among other things, the "innovation marathon" that began back in 2014. Since then the product range has been greatly expanded and strongly aligned to target groups. Our long-term strategy and the successes motivate us to keep at it with a lot of energy", says Gebhard Kübler, one of the two managing partners of the family business.

The shareholders of the family business Kübler Group are the brothers Lothar and Gebhard Kübler. Together with Martin Huth, the Managing Director Sales, they manage the innovative group of companies. More than 500 dedicated people are employed worldwide, the export share is 75%, and the turnover in the group will be around 90 m€ in 2022. In Germany, about 15% of the employees work in R&D. Ten international subsidiaries, two production plants in Germany and one in Pune (India) as well as an assembly in Charlotte NC (USA), distributors and agencies in more than 50 countries are part of the spectrum of the growing global player today. In addition, an Engineering Solution Center has existed in Berlin for several years, especially for software, innovative magnetic sensor technology and customer-oriented applications.
