About TOP 100
Since 1993, the TOP 100 innovation competition has recognized small and medium-sized enterprises that stand out for their particularly systematic and successful innovation management. The decisive factor is not a single new product, but the overall picture: strategy, innovation culture, processes, market orientation, and measurable economic success.

The mentor is former Federal President Christian Wulff. Project partners include the Fraunhofer Society and the BVMW, among others.
In the scientifically supported selection process of the TOP 100 innovation competition, we achieved an outstanding third place in size category C (companies with more than 200 employees in Germany). This means that, for the fourth time, we are among Germany’s most innovative medium-sized companies – and this year, we are among the top three companies in our category for the first time.
The official award ceremony took place on June 26 as part of the German SME Summit in Heidelberg. The TOP 100 award was presented to the Kübler Group’s management team by former German Federal President Christian Wulff.
We particularly impressed the jury with our innovation culture and our high speed of decision-making. At Kübler, innovation is driven above all by the commitment of our employees and close collaboration with customers, universities, and technology partners. Together, we develop solutions that are consistently aligned with real-world requirements.
Innovation at Kübler is a team effort. Our employees are deliberately given the freedom to develop and pursue new ideas. One example of this is our internal “Höhle der Löwen” innovation competition: Seven development teams used available capacity to create new product ideas and develop functional prototypes within four months. Many of these ideas are already contributing to the next generation of products.
This approach is complemented by our “My Day”. Every second Friday, employees in development can step away from their daily tasks and work across departments on new ideas and creative solutions. This dedicated time creates space for innovation and strengthens collaboration beyond team boundaries.
In our daily development work, product management, application engineering, and development teams work closely together to translate customer requirements into innovative products and system solutions. At the same time, we continuously expand our portfolio and, guided by our “Easy to work with” principle, make collaboration with our customers simpler and more efficient.
The TOP 100 award confirms that our innovation strategy is the right path forward. Above all, however, it is a recognition of the creativity, commitment, and collaboration of our employees. Their ideas, curiosity, and openness to new approaches are the foundation that enables us to continue developing the solutions of tomorrow.
