Many machines require faster and more reliable data communication, especially when Ethernet needs to be transmitted securely in rotating applications. This is exactly where Kübler's Industrial Line comes in. The modular platform offers various options for efficiently transmitting data at up to 1 Gbit/s, suitable for a wide range of installation and performance requirements.

There are three Ethernet modules to choose from:

• classic slip ring design,
• a particularly compact Ethernet module based on printed circuit boards, which reduces the installation space by up to 70%,
• and a contactless module that operates completely wear-free – ideal for high speeds or long service lives.

All variants can be used independently of the protocol. This allows machines to be flexibly equipped with Profinet, Ethernet/IP, or other systems without having to commit to a specific Slip ring.

Sensor functions such as position, speed, or temperature detection can be integrated for additional application possibilities. Air and fluid feedthroughs can also be flexibly combined.

With the modular Ethernet solutions of the Industrial Line, your machine remains flexible, networked, and future-proof—from quick upgrades to existing equipment to new high-performance systems.

The PCB Ethernet modules can also be used as a space-saving, standalone product. As standalone Ethernet modules, they are not only suitable for new systems, but also ideal for retrofitting. They enable Ethernet to be retrofitted without having to completely replace existing Slip rings – ideal when installation space is limited and machines still need to be modernized.
