Sendix MFB S19 motor feedback system: Enhanced performance for compact servo motors

Products Industries

19 October 2026

Your servo motors need to be more compact whilst delivering greater performance – with high dynamics and precise control. However, in the packaging industry and robotics in particular, high accelerations and rapid changes of direction generate a great deal of heat within the motor. This can limit the available power. With the Sendix MFB S19 motor feedback system, you can get more out of your synchronous servo motors

YOUR BENEFIT

  • High-precision drive control: 24-bit singleturn and 12-bit multi-turn resolution, accuracy of ±70 angular seconds
  • Robust and future-proof rotor position detection thanks to new reflective sensor technology
  • Additional power reserves thanks to extremely low self-heating
  • Ideal for particularly compact motor designs: installation depth of just 19 mm
  • Flexible integration: compatible with existing motor designs as well as BiSS-C and BiSS-C with SinCos

More precise control, more efficient operation
The more accurately the rotor position is detected, the more precisely the motor can be controlled. After auto-calibrating while installed, the Sendix MFB S19 achieves a system accuracy of ±70 angular seconds, with a 24-bit single-turn resolution and a 12-bit multi-turn resolution. This reduces control effort, increases efficiency, and limits heat build-up in the motor. With directly driven axes, you also benefit from higher positioning accuracy.

The Sendix MFB S19 generates very little heat itself and can withstand motor temperatures of up to 120 °C. This enables your servomotor to operate at full power for longer before derating due to overheating becomes necessary.

Shorter motors, fewer failures
With a depth of just 19 mm, the Sendix MFB S19 saves valuable installation space and enables more compact motor designs. This is made possible by a reflective measurement principle that requires only a single printed circuit board.

The system is designed for reliability, even under demanding operating conditions. A patented labyrinth seal and a stainless-steel code disc with the coded side facing away from the motor protect against typical sources of interference. This means that dirt, leaking grease, brake dust and excessive axial play are less likely to cause failures. As the system operates without bearings, it is also wear-free.

It is quick to integrate and flexible to combine, with installation carried out using a tapered shaft and just three M3 screws. Thanks to the compatible mechanical interface, you can retain your existing motor design. The Sendix MFB S19 can also be combined with servo controllers from various manufacturers via the open BiSS-C and BiSS-C + SinCos interfaces.

In addition to single-turn and multi-turn variants, Kübler will work with you to develop highly integrated solutions tailored to your specific requirements.

The result is more precise control, greater power reserves, and more compact servo motors, all with an easy-to-integrate feedback system designed for reliable operation.
