New inclination sensors for static and dynamic applications

Products Industries

27 March 2024

Available as an analog or IO-Link variant.

Your Benefit

  • Suitable for the harshest environments
  • For static and dynamic applications
  • 1-axis and 2-axis versions
  • Simple commissioning and diagnostics
  • A wide range of interfaces
  • IO-Link as a door opener for IIoT
Kübler inclinometers are ideally suited for use in the harshest environments. Whether static or dynamic applications: both single-axis and dual-axis inclination measurements are possible. Kübler is now expanding its product portfolio with the IN6x and IN7x product types. These two versions are available with an analog output or an IO-Link interface and can also measure 2-dimensional inclinations in the measuring range of ±85° or 1-dimensional inclinations up to 360°. In addition to the innovative sensor technology, the new inclinometers are easier to program.

The following parameters can be customized:

  • Center point, start or end point via a teach adapter
  • The direction of rotation
  • Filter and water functions
  • Different analog output signals via FDT/IODD (PACTware)

Under what conditions can the inclination sensors be used?

Commissioning is quick and transparent thanks to the 3 LEDs and the water trolley function. Thanks to the wide temperature range of -40°C ... +85°C and the high degree of protection IP68 / IP69K, precise measurements are possible even under the harshest environmental conditions.

The IN7x type is ideal for use in dynamic applications. This has an additional gyroscope sensor next to the acceleration measuring cell, which is used for precise angle measurement.
