Flexible incremental measurement with customizable magnetic rings

For anyone who values maximum flexibility and precise measurements in drive control, Kübler now offers magnetic sensors with innovative magnetic ring technology. The sensors reliably detect changes in the magnetic fields of the north and south poles on a ring that is directly connected to the drive shaft. This allows both incremental speed and exact position information to be recorded.

The resolution is flexibly adjustable—even programmable up to 999,999 ppr—and can therefore be tailored precisely to the requirements of a wide variety of applications. The encoders also impress in terms of mechanical integration: the selection of magnetic rings, pole pitches, and designs allows for individual adaptation to shape, size, and installation space.

Robust, durable, and resistant to external influences, Kübler encoders also offer quick and easy commissioning. For the incremental versions, each pulse generates a precise measurement of the rotational speed, while magnetic rings with reference tracks also reliably provide the exact position.
