28 November 2025

The compact and cost-effective IN5x inclination sensors offer maximum precision, advanced 3-axis measurement (6DoF), and a choice of analog or fieldbus interfaces—ideal for mobile machines and demanding industrial applications.

YOUR BENEFITS
  • Compact and cost-efficient design
  • High precision for dynamic tilt and position detection
  • Analog or fieldbus interface for flexible integration
  • Modern 3-axis measurement (6DoF) for maximum dynamics
  • Ideal for mobile machines and demanding industrial applications

With its Base-Line inclinometers, Kübler presents powerful solutions for applications that require precise inclination and position information even during movement. The inclinometers measure the inclination of an object around one, two, or three axes relative to the force of gravity—reliably even under dynamic conditions.

As with static inclinometers, high-resolution acceleration measuring cells (MEMS) are used. These are supplemented by rotational speed measuring cells (gyroscopes) that compensate for external encounters. The intelligent fusion of these two measuring principles enables particularly fast and precise measurement results – ideal for moving machines and vehicles such as excavators, agricultural machinery, or mobile cranes.

For more demanding requirements, dynamic 3-axis sensors with a total of six measuring cells (3× acceleration, 3× rotational speed) are available. This 6-DoF (6 degrees of freedom) technology allows the spatial orientation of an object to be determined precisely. In addition to the calculated angle values, all six raw data sets can be output individually and further processed. In the context of condition monitoring, the data from the acceleration sensors in particular provide valuable information about undesirable vibrations or mechanical influences.
With this combination of modern sensor technology and intelligent data fusion, the Base-Line sets new standards for dynamic inclination detection in mobile and moving applications.
