The Kübler Sendix K58 Industrial-Line absolute encoders combine modern optical sensor technology with robust construction and future-proof technology—in a 58 mm size.

YOUR BENEFITS
  • Highest measurement accuracy and reliability
  • Can also be used on large shafts
  • For the harshest environmental conditions
  • 24one delivery promise: ensuring planning reliability and system availability
  • Seamless integration into modern, digital networks

With the growing demands on automation, the need for absolute measurement is increasing. The new, particularly powerful optical sensor technology prompted Kübler to develop a completely new encoder platform that opens up new possibilities in the world of encoders and pushes existing boundaries: Kübler presents the new Sendix K-58 Performance Line encoders for absolute position measurement. They are based on optical sensor technology and provide position information without a reference run.

The new platform uses the same installation space and mechanical stability as incremental variants. This greatly simplifies integration thanks to the uniform design-in and gives the designer maximum flexibility.

Digital signal processing allows resolutions of up to 21 bits singleturn and 12 bits multi-turn. Absolute and incremental signals can be output in parallel, freely configurable in resolution and signal format.

The K58 variants offer flexible shaft and hollow shaft designs, shock and vibration resistance, and a temperature range from –40 °C to +110 °C. Safety-Lock 2.0, a robust housing design, and a shielding concept ensure reliable operation and easy integration.

What is Safety-Lock 2.0?

Safety-Lock 2.0 is the advanced mechanical bearing design of Sendix encoders. It is based on three operating principles that together ensure a stable and reliable bearing assembly. The concept is complemented by a robust connection between the flange and the housing. Together with a coordinated shielding concept, Safety-Lock 2.0 helps to increase the mechanical resilience and interference immunity of the encoders during operation.
