Fritz Kuebler GmbH offers various high-quality encoders in its sensor technology portfolio

Fritz Kuebler GmbH’s product portfolio contains various encoders which can be integrated in different applications in sensor technology. Rotary encoders such as incremental and absolute encoders are available, but also linear encoders such as magnetic and draw-wire systems as well as length measuring kits. Besides sensor technology, the German company offers industrial counting technology as well as process technology components such as tachometers, timers and process controllers.
Fritz Kuebler GmbH’s headquarter is located in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany, and employs about 150 people. It is an international leader when it comes to highly reliable, high-quality and cost-effective components in the fields of sensor, counting and process technology. It supplies thousands of customers in more than 50 countries. As an international success story, Kuebler delivered encoders for the New York subway. Kuebler’s components and extensive solutions are integrated in many industry sectors such as the medical and automotive industry, helping, for example, with the detection and logging of movement or with the count and display of physical values. Where necessary, Kuebler manufactures the individual product for a customer’s needs within one or two days. Simply contact us via E-mail or telephone.
Now, all components and devices are accessible online. Kuebler’s online product directory contains detailed information on the respective products. The section on incremental encoders includes items such as miniature encoders in shaft and hollow versions, stainless steel versions or heavy industry versions and accessories for high loads. Kuebler’s incremental encoders operate on an electro-optical scanning principle. A disk with a radial grating of lines and gaps rotates between a light source (mostly an LED) and a receiver which produces a sine wave signal proportional to the light received.
Kuebler is investing about 15 per cent of its annual turnover each year in research and development which is an indicator for its technological edge. Kuebler developed the so called Integrative Technology which is a package of measures that, amongst others, ensures compact construction, high signal quality, high shock resistance and a high level of immunity to EMI. With this patented technology, absolute singleturn encoders are available in the same dimensions as comparable incremental encoders. This simplifies the mechanical exchange.
Kuebler maintains an extensive download area with digital product catalogues and brochures. For every component and device, Kuebler offers a PDF-file for download which sums up specific data: The datasheet on incremental shaft encoders, for example, contains information on the encoder’s performance and its electrical characteristics.
