With its new Setpoint Generator CODIX 533, Kübler is adding to its CODIX family of displays an output device for analogue voltages and currents, designed to open up new application possibilities in the fields of process technology and automation. It is a real innovation - the function of a digital time controller with analogue output, compact and user-friendly. It allows processes to be run more simply than with any PLC or process controller and is also perfect for use in efficient simulation runs. The Setpoint Generator provides a galvanically isolated standard signal or a freely-programmable, time-based signal sequence from 0 … 12 V or 0 … 24 mA, with a high accuracy of = 0.1% of the final value ±0.01%/K. The compact construction of the CODIX 533 in the 48 x 24 mm DIN format, with an installation depth of only 59 mm allows it to be used even where space is tight. |

Kübler presents six new process indicators and process controllers, in DIN format 96 x 48 mm, equipped with RS232 and RS485 interfaces. The real advantage for the user is that the units can be programmed via these interfaces and that programmed data can be called up and then further processed. Communication is achieved using ASCII characters, so that the values can easily be read in and out with the help of a terminal editor. Codix Series models 550 … 555 boast an IP65 protected housing, with an exceptionally bright 5 digit 14mm high LED display. Operation and set-up is done either with the large front-panel keys or via the interfaces. Thanks to an alphanumeric text programme the units can be easily configured via the keypad. The product family covers indicators and controllers for standard analogue input signals (0 … 20mA, 4 … 20mA, 0 … 10VDC and ± 10 VDC) with MIN/MAX capture and other versions for thermocouples and resistance measurement (2-, 3- or 4-wire technology). Up to 2 alarm set points are available. All units benefit from a particularly high resolution 14 bit A/D converter. Amongst the analogue input models there are units with dual functions, for example where the current measured value can be displayed but at the same time totalised. A simple push of a button is all that is required to switch between displays. This feature for example allows the customer to measure both the flow volume and the flow speed in a silo - all in one unit. Programming a linearisation curve, made up of 24 programming points, means that the input signal can be scaled to show a certain desired value - even non-linear signals can be accommodated and a falling slope can be entered if required. Temperature monitoring for example can be achieved using modules with two set point relay outputs. |

With design and technology in mind, multifunctional and easy to handle, the Kübler Codix-Process Displays have always been highly appreciated by their users. Now the company presents these devices optimized with even better functions and operational possibilities. For example, their functionality is optimized with the minimum-maximum detection, the default-value setting, the display-hold function to save the read-out, the overflow-underflow signaling as well as the interval-limiting setting for all input signals. Furthermore, the Codix Displays have been designed for three optional serial interfaces, namely the RS232, RS422 and RS485. This opens new possibilities for uses and applications. The devices can be parameterized over the interfaces, additional parameter data can be recalled through further processing on the device. The values will be show with ASCII-characters and thus with the aid of a Terminal-Editor they are very simple to sort and select. Alternatively Kübler offers EZ-Control, a very easy to use software that enables a simple operating start for the devices and assures a reliable operation of all the desired functions. Moreover, functions such as upload and download, monitor and terminal program to easily diagnose as well as the reliable Online-view of the measured value, allow themselves to be effortless programmed. Besides, the Status and Function protocols of different components can be set up too. The dependable fault-diagnosis informs about possible weak points. Maintenance activities thus can be performed faster and more efficiently. Exact matching interface cables grant a quick operation start of the software and device without major cabling expenditure. An easy to use Online-Help program supports the user regarding all questions about the EZControl Software. The CODIX Devices comprise Displays and Controllers in DIN-Format 96 x 48 mm and 48 x 24 mm for normal signals and temperature as well. The devices are placed in a sealed housing with an IP65 protection index and respectively control volume flow, filling levels, pressure or temperature. To facilitate reading out the Data, a very clear five digit LED display is used. Service and setup are realized with the comfortable oversized front-keys or through the interface as well. To the versions with normal signals belong in also devices with double functions, for example on the instant value to be shown and at the same time the value is to be added up. Over one rising or falling programmable characteristic curve out of up to 24 control points, the input values allow themselves to be shown as prearranged values, and consequently non-linear curves can also be adjusted. Just as an example, for temperature observation there are devices available with two value-limit relays. All devices can operate with supply voltages from 10 to 30 V DC or from 90 to 260 V AC. And finally we also provide two auxiliary voltages, 24 V DC or 10 V DC, to supply external sensors and components as well. |

Kübler from Germany presents two new micro processor based temperature indicators ( Codix 531, 532) for resistance temperature measurement and thermocouple sensors. Both LED units come with full galvanic insulation in a DIN 48 x 24 mm IP 65 protected enclosure. Very simple set-up, maximum and minimum temperature storage capability at an attractive pricing are further key advantages of these compact indicators. Codix 531 is designed for Pt100 and Ni100 sensors, while Codix 532 operates with J, K or N s-type sensors. An integrated DC-DC converter ensures a galvanic insultation between the power supply and the sensor input signals. Reverse voltage protection makes the units safe against misconnection. A 5 digit LED display with 8 mm digit height features superb luminiscence and ensures clear visibility of the display from longer ditances or in dark surroundings. Temperature in °C or °F is user-selectable, as is the resolution of up to 0,1 °C or 0,1 °F. A latch input freezes the display if required. The inputs of Codix 531 are suitable for 2-, 3- or 4-wire technology while Codix 532 incorporates an internal and external temperature comparator. Latter ensures that temperatures are always measured correctly regardless environmental temperatures. A automatic Minimum and Maximum temperature storage capability adds extra benefit to the unit. The Power supply is 10-30 VDC. Screw terminal connection in a 5 mm grid up to 4mm2 make installation simple and safe. |
