Chronology of construction

June 2006

  • Decision to start the building project.
  • First design ideas and concepts.
  • Brainstorming in the Vollack Industriebau GmbH offices.

April 2007

  • Ground-breaking ceremony.

  • Topping out ceremony.

January 2008

  • Completion of construction - after a total construction period of ten months.

Floor area

  • 2500 new square meters.
  • Utilisation: Production and Product design centre.
  • Extendable by further 60 percent, i.e. 1500 square meters.

Employees

  • 30 percent rise of number of employees; currently 211 employees at headquarters in Villingen-Schwenningen.

  • 2.5 m Euros for new building.
  • 0.4 m Euros for existing building.
