Optical Fibre Modules
 |
The solution for tough signal transmission.
The system is made up of an optical fibre transmitter and an optical fibre receiver.
The optical fibre transmitter converts the electrical signals of a conventional incremental encoder into a light signal for transmission by means of an optical fibre.
The receiving module converts the optical signal back into electrical signals. Up to 4 channels may be transmitted safely.
- Signal transmission thanks to a simple glass fibre.
- Safe signal transmission up to 1000 m.
- Input frequency up to 400 kHz.
- Input level 10 – 30 V or RS 422.
- Inverted input signals.
- Resists extremely strong electromagnetical fields.
Many applications:
- Process control technology and automation technology.
- Interference-sensitive applications.
- High voltage plants.
- Plants with long transmission distances.
- Potential separation.
- Explosive areas.

The new Slip ring program from Kübler
 |
Slip ring competence from Kübler. We use the long Slip ring experience of our subsidiary IST.
Production and distribution are newly bundled and integrated into the Kübler group.
The Kübler Slip rings are particularly distinguished by their durability and very low maintenance intensity.
World-wide customers, e.g. in the packaging industry, filling machines etc., are among our references.
Slip rings are used to transmit electric currents, signals or data, pneumatic and hydraulic from a stationary to a rotating platform.
Advantages and benefits of Kübler Slip rings:
- Modular system construction, load and signal channels can be combined selectively.
- Flexible solutions with any number of signal and load rings in one device.
- Long service life and long maintenance cycles.
- Bicameral system for load and signal transmission in one device.
- Slip Rings transmit also sensitive fieldbus signals such as Profibus, CANopen, etc. up to 12 Megabaud (MBD).
Application areas for Slip rings:
- Packaging machines.
- Textile machines.
- Robots and handling equipment.
- Cranes.
- Pipeline inspection systems.
- Video surveillance (CCTV) equipment.
- Fairground rides.
- Bottling plants.
- Rotary tables.
